Fair division of goods in the shadow of market values

Inheritances, divorces or liquidations of companies require common assets to be divided among the entitled parties. Legal methods usually consider market value goods, while fair division theory takes into account parties' preferences expressed as utilities. I combine two practices define a procedure that optimally allocates divisible goods with values people easily elicited preferences. Imposing exact equality in bundles' monetary may produce unacceptable solutions. drop tight requirement and suggest which differences are explained terms satisfaction per share perceived by agents. A robustness study shows consequences misspecification model parameters.
